The in-person meeting will be held at Civil Rights Institute of Southern California (3933 Mission Inn Avenue Suite 102\, Riverside\, CA 92501). \nCreating Shared Strategies for the IE Grantmaking Community \nJoin us for a pivotal IEFA member meeting as we chart the course for our next chapter. This session is dedicated to the formal discussion of our Strategic Sustainability Plan\, led by Lisa Watson. \nAt this meeting\, we will pull review and discuss the draft of IEFA Roadmap and Key Priorities. This document outlines the key priorities proposed to strengthen our impact and ensure long-term sustainability over the coming years. You can expect to have time to: \n\nAsk questions regarding the strategic direction of the Roadmap.\nOffer feedback on proposed initiatives.\nEnsure the plan reflects the evolving needs of our members and the unique “moment” our region is currently navigating.\n\nWe are also honored to welcome Native Americans in Philanthropy to our meeting! \nAs we look toward the spring\, NAP will share a special presentation regarding their upcoming 2026 Annual Conference\, taking place this April at the Riverside Convention Center. DESCRIPTION:IEFA’s April 2026 bimonthly member meeting will be Wednesday\, April 8th from 10am-12pm\, with an optional informal lunch to follow. \nThis is a “connecting” meeting\, emphasizing peer learning and relationship building. For this reason\, it will be completely in-person with no Zoom option. \nYou are invited to join your fellow IE Funders Alliance members for a smorgasbord of informal peer-to-peer conversations on how we can collectively build a smarter philanthropic sector for our region. \nIEFA recently completed its strategic sustainability planning process\, which used our member and community input to generate a compelling new identity statement that serves as the “north star” for our Strategic Roadmap:  \nIEFA is a funder strategy table that brings public and private funders together to broker relationships\, generate credible funding intelligence\, and mobilize resources to benefit the Inland Empire. \nHowever\, this strategy table is not in a restaurant — it’s a potluck! We invite you to inform your own philanthropy and breathe life into that shared vision. You can do that by engaging in compelling peer-to-peer conversations on critical topics identified in our planning: \n\nBuilding the Case: What are the promising initiatives in the region and compelling narratives that will build the case for funders outside the IE to invest their philanthropic dollars in our region? Which funders are most promising to engage?\nMind the Gap: Where are the funding gaps IE grantmakers need to address? How can we share insight on vital regional efforts that are stalled due to missing last-mile dollars or a final coordinating element that could benefit from targeted co-funding or curated introductions?\nKnowledge for Action: What would you like to know about your fellow funders’ priorities and practices to inform your own grantmaking? IEFA is planning a member funding survey and we would love your input.\n\nIf any of these questions appeal to you — or if you just want to sit at the table with fellow funders — please join us.  \n…And if that’s not enough\, we have some exciting news to share about the future leadership of the Funders Alliance!
